Chef to Radical Philanthropist: The Journey of Chef José Andrés

Nov-4th 1:30 pm

José Andrés is a Michelin-starred, James Beard-winning chef, the Chairman Emeritus of LA Kitchen, Founder and Chairman of World Central Kitchen, a not-for-profit organization focusing on chef-driven solutions to global hunger and poverty, and author of New York Times best-selling We Fed An Island. In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria’s landfall in Puerto Rico, Andrés and his team from World Central Kitchen created the world’s largest kitchen, serving over 3.6 million meals. In this session, the super-chef turned superhero will sit with acclaimed LA cuisine legend Mary Sue Milliken to unpack his journey to feed the hearts, souls, and stomachs of those who need it most.
